FAQ

Common questions

What can I actually ask an agent to do?

Anything that involves reading, writing or checking legal documents, in any area of practice. Draft an agreement, notice or policy in your firm's voice, redline a counterparty draft with tracked changes, write a compliance memo, run diligence across a data room, build a chronology from a bundle of pleadings, or research a point of law across statutes and Supreme Court and High Court judgments. Describe the outcome you want rather than the steps, and the agent works out the steps.

How does Plan mode differ from just asking a question?

A quick question gets a direct answer. Anything with several moving parts gets a plan first: the agent proposes a numbered checklist, waits for your approval, and only then starts work. You can edit the steps, reorder them or drop any you do not want before it runs. Nothing happens behind your back.

Can I see how it reached an answer?

Yes. Every step is on screen while it happens: which document it opened, which search it ran, which sub-agent it handed a question to. Each claim in the answer carries a citation that links to the exact page or paragraph it came from, and you can open the source beside the answer to check it yourself.

What happens when it cannot verify something?

It says so. The system looks for the quoted words in the source before showing you a citation. When it cannot find them, the citation is marked unverified rather than presented as confirmed. An agent that admits a gap is more useful than one that fills it confidently.

Does it work on my own documents, or only on case law?

Both. Upload Word, PDF and spreadsheet files and the agent reads them alongside the case law. It drafts and redlines directly on your documents, and the changes export back to Word as real tracked changes you accept or reject in the usual way.

Is the law it cites current?

Yes. Alongside the judgment corpus the agent checks live sources (today's gazette, recent bills and newly reported decisions), so an answer reflects the law as it stands rather than as of a training cutoff.

Can it connect to our existing systems?

Yes, over MCP. Connect your case-management database, document drive or calendar and the agent answers from live records instead of asking you to paste them in. Teams can also add custom skills for workflows they repeat.
